This Policy explains the information Togethers may collect when you visit the website, create an account, join a room, use collaborative browsing features or purchase a subscription.

1. Information we collect

Device and usage information

Togethers may receive IP address, browser and device type, operating system, time zone, referring pages, timestamps, viewed pages, feature interactions, room diagnostics and similar technical records. Cookies, local storage, pixels and log files may be used to collect this information.

Account information

If you register, Togethers may collect your username, email address, profile details, preferences and authentication records. Information you choose to share in rooms or messages is also processed to provide the service.

Subscription information

Purchases may require your name, billing details, country and transaction information. Card details are handled by the payment processor and are not intended to be stored directly by Togethers.

2. How information is used

• provide rooms, synchronized browsing, communication and account features;
• process subscriptions and maintain transaction records;
• send service, security and support communications;
• detect fraud, abuse, outages and security threats;
• measure performance and improve the website and applications; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce service policies.

3. Sharing information

Information may be shared with infrastructure, analytics, authentication, customer-support and payment providers that process data for Togethers. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, during a business transaction, or when you direct Togethers to share it.

Room participants can see information and content that you intentionally make available inside that room. Togethers does not sell personal information as that term is ordinarily defined.

4. Cookies and analytics

Cookies and related technologies may keep you signed in, remember settings, protect sessions and measure use. Browser controls can limit cookies, although some service features may then stop working correctly.

5. Data retention

Account information is retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, support, legal and operational purposes. Retention periods vary by data type. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless law requires longer retention.
